After an intense battle at the Hong Kong Inter-School Athletics Competition, our incredible Athletics Team gave it their all and secured the 1st Runner Up position for boys!
From Day 1, we were neck and neck with YCKMC, and just a few points away from DBS in the lead. But our determination never wavered. On Day 2, we pushed even harder, showcasing our skills and persistence, and ended the day in third place.
Then came Day 3, the day that truly defined our spirit. Our home-grown athletes unleashed their full potential, capturing champion and runner-up titles in several events. With their outstanding performances, we secured the 1st Runner Up position for B grade and C grade, as well as the 2nd Runner Up for A grade, and for the overall result, we captured the title of 1st Runner Up!
We couldn't be prouder of our athletes for their relentless dedication, hard work, and teamwork. This achievement is a testament to their incredible talent, and the fruit of their endless practices that involved blood, sweat, and tears.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated PE teachers and supportive old boys who have contributed to the success of this competition.
Congratulations to all our athletes, coaches and supporters! Together, our boys of courage demonstrated what it means to never say die, and showed the world that La Salle is something more!
The NCS students, who are currently learning about food and recipes, enjoyed a hands-on experience at making their own crêpes. This outing was a good opportunity for them to learn more French vocabulary on ingredients, recipes, utensils and cooking procedures. From making the batter mixture to cooking and flipping their crêpes, choosing their individual fillings and even washing dishes, the boys had a lot of fun practising French in action.
Lasallians, join us in supporting our home-grown athletes by visiting the live stream at https://www.youtube.com/watch?
The Senior and Junior Form Assemblies were held on 20th and 23rd February, 2024 respectively. Both Assemblies highlighted the exceptional achievements of our students in internal and external events. The remarkable contributions of our parents at the Family Fun Day were also honourably mentioned.
The Assemblies featured the prize presentation of the Family Fun Day Highest Revenue Award, Best-dressed Game Stalls, Most Delicious Gourmet and the Class Tee Design Campaign, acknowledging parents’ support, students' teamwork, creativity and class spirit. The College is thankful for the parent helpers, without whom the Family Fun Day would not have been held so successfully.
The outstanding achievements of our students were also highlighted, including 5G Xu Chi Nam and 6G Lo Hei Long, who showed their remarkable linguistic talents and effective communication skills at the 20th Biliteracy and Trilingualism Composition and Speech Competition. Besides, representatives from the Computer Team shared the experience they gained from the Hong Kong Olympiad in Informatics. The Assemblies were concluded with the message from the Catholic Society regarding the significance and upcoming activities during Lent. Their sharing served as a gentle reminder on our spiritual readiness for this solemn time before Easter.
