  1. Learning Support Programmes
    1. Small Teachers’ Group – Senior Form students coach F.1 and F.2 students in English, Chinese and Mathematics tutorial classes, and F.3 in Science and Mathematics tutorial classes.
    2. F.1 Bridging Programme.
    3. F.1-F.3 Learning Support Programme for less-able students.
    4. F. 3 Summer Programme - students who fail in the F. 3 Final Examination have to complete assignments in English, Chinese and Mathematics and sit for examinations during the summer holidays to help them catch up with their school work.
  2. Gifted / Extension Programmes
    1. To promote gifted programmes/competitions, awards and scholarships, and leadership training programmes for students.
      - Enrolment of students in gifted programmes.
  3. Special Education Needs (SEN) Programmes
    1. To access assessment and programme for SEN students.

  1. To coordinate the jobs of different service providing teams and units, such as the IT Team, SAMS Team, Library Team, and Audio-Visual Team.
  2. To promote and enhance the use of school resources to facilitate teaching and learning.
  3. To monitor and supervise the use of teaching and learning resources.
  4. To set up policy and procedures for the use of school resources.

1. School Library Services 
 
Objectives
The Library aims to be a progressive resource centre to meet the needs of both students and teachers. It hopes to develop students' independent and selective learning and to encourage reading for work and pleasure.

Policy
The Library aims to be a progressive resource centre to meet the needs of both students and teachers. It hopes to develop students' independent and selective learning and to encourage reading for work and pleasure.

Guidelines and Services
  1. Collection
    There are both Chinese and English books, fiction, non-fiction, newspapers, periodicals, magazines and CDs.
  2. OPAC
    An On-line Public Access Catalogue is available. Teachers and students can search for books on the computer, following easy, self-explanatory directions.
  3. Loans
    Simply present the Library card at the counter.
    Students may borrow up to 10 books at a time for a period of 2 weeks. All books are renewable. Reference materials can be used in the library only.
  4. Internet
    Students may book for the time slot they wish to use the internet.
Regulations
  1. The following rules are to enable us all to get the maximum use of a very valuable resource.
  2. Silence must be maintained at all times.
  3. Bags must not be brought inside the Library.
  4. No food and drinks is allowed.
  5. Books are to be returned on time.
  6. The library is to be kept tidy.
Opening Hours
School Days 8.00am - 4.30pm

 

2. Study Room

Objectives
The Study Room aims to provide the students with a quiet place for study for students who may not have a desirable environment to pursue their studies. Students are expected to exercise self-discipline and discretion in their behaviour in the Study Room. Students are to have mutual respect for each other as well as for school property.  
 
Regulations
  1. Students are to complete serious study in the study room.
  2. Students are not to meet and chat inside the study room.
  3. Students are to keep quiet in the study room.
  4. Food and drink is strictly prohibited.
  5. The "First-come-first-serve" rule applies to the seats in the Study Room.
  6. Students are not allowed to re-arrange the furniture in the study room.
  7. Students should not bring any unrelated materials to the study room.
  8. Only F.5 to F.6 students are allowed to stay in the study room after 4:30 p.m..
  9. The study room is to be kept clean at all times.
  10. Students who violate the above regulations will be banned from the study room.
Opening Hours
School Days 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

 

3. Audio-Visual Education Team

Objective
The Visual Education Unit is established to coordinate and facilitate the use of the AVA equipment in the school and to give assistance to teachers and students in this respect. New equipment is to be added from time to time to ensure a high quality support service is provided.

Objectives
        
  1. To implement the IT Development Plan including eLearning developed by the IT Advisory Committee, endorsed by the IMC.
  2. To facilitate the use of IT resources in the school.
  3. To assist Panel IT and eLearning Coordinators develop IT and eLearning in their Panel.
  4. To assist teachers design and implement IT and eLearning in their classes.
  5. To assist the College review and develop effective policy and procedures for IT and eLearning in a BYOD environment.
  6. To assist the Principal plan and implement IT and eLearning professional development for all staff.
  7. To manage and maintain the College infrastructure, hardware and software day to day and year to year guided by the IT Advisor Commitee IT Development Plan.
