Besides, Yu Hoi Wai Harry (6G) has been selected as one of the six Hong Kong Team members for the International Mathematical Olympiad to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from 12 to 23 July 2017.
The Team would like to congratulate all the prize winners and thank their teacher advisor Miss Luk for her guidance and support.
The College is pleased to announce that our students have performed well and were awarded prizes in the 2017 ICAS administered by Education Assessment Australia, University of New South Wales.
The students are:
Tsoi Yi Hang (2A) Medal for Mathematics in English, Science in English
Leung Sing Fung (2B) Medal for Mathematics in English
Choi Tsz Ho (3D) Medal for Mathematics in English
Chow King Ngai (3E) Medal for Science in English

The College is pleased to announce that Lam Ching Long is awarded the Grantham Scholars of 2016-2017. Grantham Scholarship is administered by the Grantham Scholarships Fund aiming to promote and encourage local education. The “Grantham Scholars of the Year” award was introduced in the academic year 1997-1998 and aims to reward all-rounded students of good academic achievement with good conduct, active in extra-curricular activities and devoted to school and community services. Every year, 24 students will be selected to receive the award.
The College congratulates Ching Long for this superb achievement.
The Table Tennis Team is pleased to announce that they have captured the Championship in the Hang Seng All Schools Table Tennis Competition which was held on 11 June, 2017.

Congratulations to Wah Hon Ting (5G) who was awarded the Kiwanis Community Service Award 2017 by the Kiwanis Club of Hong Kong, in recognition of his contributions to services inside and outside school.
The Sports Prize Giving Ceremony was held yesterday, on 6th June 2017. This year, our students did a marvelous job in sports. In inter-school sports events, they captured a number of prizes, including the Overall Championship in badminton, archery, orienteering and Grade Championships, in all grades in Rugby Sevens matches. Attached please find the results of this year’s sports competitions.
The Guest of Honour of the Sports Prize Giving Ceremony was Mr. Charles Chan, the Chairman of the Sports Development Advisory Committee of the school. In his speech, Mr. Chan recalled his joyous participation in sports training when he was at school. He further encouraged our students to build up the attributes of perseverance and respect so as to realise the spirit of a true sportsman.
The college would like to thank Mr. Chan for presiding the prize giving ceremony, as well as all teacher advisors of sports teams, coaches, Old Boys and parents for their support of our athletes.
The College is pleased to host a group of table-tennis players from the University of St La Salle and the Lopues Table Tennis Association for a practice session on 24th May.
The group consisted of former U14 national players of the Philippines visited our school and had friendly matches with our school team players.
It was a precious opportunity for our students to receive and play with players from other countries.

The College would like to announce that Chan Ching Fung (4C), Ma Chi Fai (5B) and Lam Hin Chak represented Hong Kong in the Asian Youth Athletics Championship 2017 in Bangkok and their results are as follows:
Lam Hin Chak (5B) high jump 4th
Ma Chi Fai (4B) 200m 8th, Medley Relay Bronze
Chan Ching Fung (4C) Medley Relay Bronze
These three athletes have been training hard at school and attained superb results in the inter-schools athletics competitions. As such, they were selected to represent Hong Kong in this Asia-wide competition. Their achievements clearly show their spirit in pursuit of excellence. Congratulations to all the prize winners.
