The Music Department is pleased to announce that the Drum Team has captured the Championship and the Most Creative Award in the Tertiary and Secondary Section of the 15th Hong Kong Synergy 24 Drum Competition 2017 held on 7th October.
Congratulations to the Drum Team and thank you to their teacher advisors, Mr Wan and Mr Lam.
The Economics Department is pleased to announce that on 14th October, 2017 a group of F.6 boys won The Best Presentation Award in an Economics analysis competition (語出經人 經濟分æžæ¯”è³½2017) jointly held by Econschool and Hong Kong Association for Economics Education.
Participating teams were required to submit a 5-page report to investigate a given topic by applying relevant economic concepts and theories. After submitting a report in September, 10 finalists were selected out of a total of 101 teams to do a 10-minute presentation. The topic of our school was "Examine the Global Economic Impact under the Application of Artificial Intelligence”
Ko Shing Hei also came Third in the Men's Singles U17 and managed to get into the Quarter-Finals of the Men's Doubles U17.
The College would like to congratulate Ko Shing Hei and Yeung Pui Lam for their excellent achievement which has once again reassured us of the strength and contribution of our sportsmen in Hong Kong.

The school would like to congratulate Harry Yu Hoi Wai and Jonathan Li for attaining Hong Kong Scholarship for Excellence 2017. For Harry, he has also attained the Jardine Scholarship 2017 and Prince Philip Scholarship 2017, an achievement of record. Harry will read Mathematics at MIT.
A team of eight Hong Kong students achieved excellent results in the 2nd International Olympiad of Metropolises (IOM), a multidisciplinary competition for students aged 14 to 18 covering four disciplines: mathematics, informatics, chemistry and physics. The competition was held in Moscow from 4th to 9th September. The Hong Kong team won two gold medals and six silver medals.
In the chemistry competition, Wong Chi-fung (5G) and Chan Chak-fu each won a silver medal. The Hong Kong team was also the Third Place Award winner in the Blitz contest.
Congratulations to Chi-fung and Chak-fu for their marvellous achievements and thank you to their teacher advisor Mr Martin Wong.
The Fencing Team is pleased to announce that their members participated in the Vango Sports Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Macau Fencing Championship 2017 held on 16th -17th September and obtained very good results.

The Chess Team is pleased to announce that Kwong Wing Ki (3A) was one of the double champions in the age group of Under 14 in the 3rd Hong Kong National Rapid Chess Championships 2017 organised by the Hong Kong Chess Federation on 16th September 2017.
