We are delighted to announce that A. Han (F.2) has been awarded the top prize at the 89th STEINWAY & SONS International Youth Piano Competition held in Shanghai early this month. Competing against exceptionally talented musicians from across China, Alexander distinguished himself within the Professional A Group (ages fourteen and under), ultimately securing first place by surpassing champions from various regions.

This unprecedented achievement, a testament to his unique talent and dedication to musical excellence at such a young age, culminated in the esteemed Special Prize in the Professional Group, paving the way for him to represent China at the 2027 Steinway International Music Festival in Hamburg, Germany.

As we celebrate this remarkable accomplishment, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of Alexander’s teachers for their unwavering support and commitment to his musical journey.
