As English Week comes to a close, Lasallians have not only gained a wealth of newfound knowledge in English but also wear bright smiles on their faces. Through a series of engaging activities designed to promote the language among students, they have discovered a genuine passion for English—culminating in the celebration of the winners of the Form 1 and Form 2 Interclass World Englishes Quiz.

Students also explored captivating new titles at the book fair while honing their eloquence and public speaking skills during the “A Gallery of Speakers” event. On Friday, they had the chance to answer questions about Chinese proverbs and sayings to win fun prizes, making learning even more enjoyable.
Through this enriching English Week, we hope students have gained confidence, enhanced their communication skills, and developed a deeper appreciation for the English language.
