The La Salle College Student Association (LSCSA) marked a historic milestone with its 50th Anniversary Tea Party Gathering on 10 May, held to commemorate five decades of leadership, unity, and service. Over 50 distinguished alumni joined current members and guests for an afternoon to celebrate the association’s enduring legacy.
The initiative commenced with a ceremonial cake-cutting ceremony, followed by a podcasting session featuring esteemed alumni leaders Mr. Peter Cheung (7th President) and Mr. Gilbert T. Chua (31st President), who engaged everyone in a thought-provoking conversation that highlighted the legacy and traditions of the student association.
Among the day’s highlights was the group photo where over 150 past and current SA members gathered at the basketball court to assemble the numerals and letters “50 SA”, which well testified the bonding and pride among generations of Lasallians.
We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all the alumni, teachers, members and supporters who contributed to this excellent page of the student association. With the LSCSA charging ahead into the next half century, this commemoration ceremony serves as a reflection of the spirit of leadership, service and brotherhood which defines the association.
