With great anticipation, we mark the beginning of a new academic year at La Salle College. During our opening assembly, Supervisor Brother Thomas encouraged all students to be torchbearers of the Lasallian spirit, embracing the principle of “Never Say Die” and drawing inspiration from the remarkable achievements of our recent graduates.
Our Principal, Mr. Steve Leung, also extended his sincere congratulations to our top scorers, commending not only their exceptional HKDSE results but also their steadfast dedication to leadership and service within the Student Association, various clubs, and school teams. Their exemplary commitment embodies the values at the heart of the Lasallian tradition.
This year’s theme, “Fostering our Lasallian Community of Hope and Inclusiveness,” is inspired by the Catholic Church’s 2025 Jubilee Year. “Hope” calls us to deepen our faith and face challenges with resilience, while “inclusiveness” reaffirms our mission to provide quality education to all, ensuring that every member of our community is respected and supported. Through our service-learning programmes, we extend this spirit beyond our campus, reaching out to those in need and are on the peripheries of society, living out the true meaning of brotherhood.
As we embark on this new school year, let us work together to uphold the Lasallian values of hope, inclusiveness, and unity. May we continue to grow, achieve, and create lasting memories as one Lasallian family.
