Huge congratulations to our Debate Team Captain, P. C. Chan (LSC 1) (F.5), and both of our La Salle College debate teams for their dedication and performance at the Senior SDC 2026, held on 10–11 October 2026 at Kellett School!

Our debaters went head-to-head against strong competition from 48 teams representing leading local and international schools across Hong Kong. A heartfelt thank you to all members of our two LSC teams. Your hard work, determination, and sharp arguments against such high-calibre opposition made the school immensely proud.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Old Boy and past Debate Team Captain B. D. Zhang for coming to the tournament to support and encourage our debaters throughout the weekend!

Amidst a total field of more than 140 debaters, Chan secured an incredible 11th Individual Speaker ranking overall based on average speaker score, placing him in the top 8% of all competing speakers. This exceptional achievement is a true testament to his eloquence, rigorous critical thinking, and stellar leadership on the competitive stage.

Thank you to the tournament organisers for hosting a memorable event, and congratulations once again to our debaters for representing La Salle College with immense pride and distinction!
