On 4 March, our school community gathered for Mass during the season of Lent. Reverend Father Bernardo Cervellera led us in prayer and reflection, reminding us that Lent is not a time of sadness, but a season of renewal — a spiritual springtime for our hearts.

In the Gospel, Jesus taught that true greatness is found not in power or status, but in service: “Whoever wishes to be great among you shall be your servant.” These words invite us to reflect on how we care for others in our daily lives.

Through prayer, fasting, and acts of charity, Lent calls us to look beyond ourselves and respond to the needs of those around us. In a world often marked by division and conflict, Christ reminds us that love is stronger than hatred and violence.

May this Lenten season inspire us to grow in faith and to serve one another with generosity and compassion.
