Huge congratulations to M. Chu (F.5) for securing 2nd place in the Under 51kg division at the Secondary School and Tertiary Institution Taekwondo Competition 2025-2026!

In his first match, Chu (HK team representative and La Salle College Taekwondo Club chairman) started off strong, overcoming an opponent with precise middle kicks and fast-paced movements, which led to a 2-0 win by rounds.

In the semifinals, Chu managed to clinch a close victory of 2-1, thanks to his astonishing head kicks.

In the finals, Chu faced another experienced Hong Kong team representative. After a thrilling comeback in the first round, the match ultimately ended in a close 1-2 loss. Nevertheless, Chu showcased remarkable resilience and determination and were incredibly proud of Chu’s commitment and perseverance.
