The National and Civic Education team, the Parent-Teacher Association, and the Chinese History Panel recently organized a Parent-Student Day Trip. The study trip to Sha Tau Kok, Kat O, and Lai Chi Wo aims to enrich students’ and parents’ understanding of local culture and natural ecology, as well as to foster a deeper appreciation of the importance of sustainable development. 

We visited the War of Resistance Heritage Site (香港沙頭角抗戰紀念館), learned about the heroic deeds of the martyrs in the Anti-Japanese War, understood the history and living culture of Kat O, and appreciated the mangroves of Lai Chi Wo, which nurture rich biodiversity.

Special thanks to the support of the Parent-Teacher Association, which allowed our students and parents to understand the importance of national security and ecological security from the trip and enjoy a pleasant, family-friendly weekend.
