The Annual Speech Day and Prize Giving Ceremony of La Salle College unfolded beautifully on 14th November 2025!  We were beyond honoured to welcome Professor Philip Chiu Wai-yan, an esteemed alumnus and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), as our Guest of Honour.

Professor Chiu shared his inspiring journey, from a young visionary with a passion for science fiction to a leader in endoscopic and robotic surgery. His expertise in Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery has set new standards in the field, particularly with his groundbreaking work in using artificial intelligence to precisely remove gastrointestinal cancer cells with minimally invasive procedures.  With a deep commitment to giving back, Professor Chiu invites aspiring Lasallians to join him in pursuing their dreams in medicine.

The evening was infused with energy and excitement, as the stunning performances by the Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra of La Salle College celebrated the remarkable achievements of our students. Their talent and dedication not only entertained but also highlighted the immense growth in sports, music, and academics at La Salle College over the past year.
