After advancing to the finals of the Territory-wide Inter-school National Security Knowledge Challenge 2025/26, our team was proud to join the National Security Education Study Tour in Beijing and Nanjing from March 28 to April 3.

A major highlight was receiving a special invitation to the viewing stands of Tiananmen Square to watch the national flag-raising ceremony. Our tour took us to the Great Wall, the Museum of the Communist Party of China, and the Museum of the War of Chinese People’s Resistance Against Japanese Aggression.

To witness the nation’s advancements, we explored the Zhongguancun Science and Technology Exhibition Center. Also, we visited the Nanjing Iron and Steel Group, the Memorial Hall of the Victims in the Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders, and the Jiangsu National Security Education Museum.

Besides, our students engaged in meaningful exchange activities at the High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China.

This tour deepened our students’ understanding of our country’s rapid development . It reinforced a crucial lesson: social stability and security are essential prerequisites for national development.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Hong Kong and Macao Work Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government, the Office for Safeguarding National Security of the Central People’s Government, the Chief Executive’s Office, the Department of Justice, the Security Bureau, the Education Bureau, and the Shine Tak Foundation for organizing this remarkable initiative. We also thank the mainland authorities for their warm hospitality.
