The Chinese Creative Writing Team is pleased to announce that our students have excelled in the 19th Joint School Chinese Creative Writing Competition, achieving remarkable success across multiple categories.
J. F. Yi (F.3) stood out with two notable achievements: Champion in the Junior Secondary New Poetry Category (初中組新詩冠軍) and First Runner-up in the Open Group Couplet Category (公開組對聯亞軍). Meanwhile, C. F. I. Lam (F.4) earned First Runner-up in the Senior Secondary New Poetry Category (高中組新詩亞軍).
We were honoured to be invited to the prize-giving ceremony, where our team engaged with young writers from other schools, participated in award winners’ sharing sessions, and celebrated the power of words through literary exchange. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the teachers who have nurtured a love for literary creation, to every student who has actively participated in this year’s writing activities, and special thanks to one of the masters of ceremonies, Y. H. S. Lun (F.2), for his dedication.
These achievements remind us that writing is not just about winning awards—it is about finding one’s voice, expressing thoughts with clarity and beauty, and connecting with others. We hope these successes encourage more students to try creative writing and join future competitions.
Congratulations once again to J. F. Yi and C. F. I. Lam. Your hard work and creativity continue to make our school community proud. Keep writing, keep exploring, and keep inspiring!
