Our students, A. ZOU (F.6) and J. LAU (F.6), demonstrated extraordinary creativity and social responsibility over the past summer break through taking part in the school’s Service Learning Program Food Action.
After participating in four visits and service sessions with Food Angel, they spent seven months developing an interactive AI game that recreates their hands-on volunteer experience. Designed to raise public awareness about food waste and poverty in Hong Kong, their innovative creation earned enthusiastic praise from professors at a renowned local university as well as representatives from Food Angel!
During A. ZOU and J. LAU’s interview on RTHK Radio 5’s program My Development Journey, they shared how participating in Food Action empowered them to embody the Lasallian spirit of service, while highlighting the vital work Food Angel does to support vulnerable communities in need.
