Congratulations to our Senior English Debating Team! We are thrilled to share that the La Salle College Senior English Debating Team has achieved 1st Runner-Up at the 2nd Legal Lions Debate Competition, held on 28th March 2026! Our debaters showcased exceptional critical thinking, sharp eloquence, and outstanding teamwork throughout a series of intense, high-stakes rounds against formidable opponents. This remarkable achievement was made possible by the dedication and collaborative efforts of our team members, including P. C. Chan (F.4), Y. Yang (F.4), N. N. Chan (F.4), H. L. G. Mak (F.4), C. T. Tsui (F.5), and H. C. H. Wu (F.5). Together, they demonstrated the true spirit of Lasallian excellence and intellectual rigor on the debating stage.

A special shout-out goes to  C. T. Tsui (F.5), who delivered a stellar performance as the Deputy Prime Minister and was deservingly awarded the Best Debater (Group 5)! His quick wit and powerful arguments stood out as a highlight of the tournament.

We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the organizer, the Lions Club of Hong Kong Sai Kung, for hosting such a prestigious and meaningful event. The competition provided an invaluable platform for our students to challenge themselves, engage in high-level discourse, and sharpen their advocacy skills. Congratulations again to the English Debating Team for their achievement! Keep shining, Lasallians!
