The Supervisor and the Incorporated Management Committee of La Salle College are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Leung Ho Yin, Steve, to succeed Mr Tong Wun Sing as the new Principal of the College, commencing on 1st September 2023.

Mr Leung holds a Master of Philosophy (Chemistry) degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He joined La Salle in 1999 as a Chemistry teacher and continues to teach courses at senior level. He was promoted to the post of Discipline Master in 2014. In 2019 he was appointed Vice Principal in charge of Student Support and leader of the College Pastoral Council.

Mr Leung as VP (Pastoral) has promoted several important initiatives to benefit students. Recently he took the opportunity of the optimisation of the core subjects to introduce Service-Learning as a new subject in the F4/F5 curriculum.

We trust that Mr Leung will lead the College to new heights as we look forward to our Centenary. We pray for God’s blessing upon him as he takes up his new leadership role.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to Mr Tong Wun Sing for his life-long dedication to the Lasallian mission. He has inculcated the Lasallian values of Faith, Service and Community in generations of La Salle boys. We wish him a happy, healthy and active retirement.
