We are thrilled to share that 19 boys recently had the opportunity to travel to Zhongshan and immerse themselves in the local culture. During their visit, they attended lessons with their host buddies at Torch No.1 Middle School, visited the breathtaking Zhongshan Memorial School, and explored the vibrant walking street.
They also had the chance to learn how to make delicious almond cookies and participate in a friendly match with some of the local students.
It was a great change to widen the students' horizons and help them reflect on their strengths and weaknesses. We are so proud of our students for embracing this once-in-a-lifetime experience and representing our school with grace and respect. The experience of speaking Putonghua on a daily basis and learning from other students are invaluable. Stay tuned for our upcoming global adventures!

In honour of International Book Day and to foster a love for reading, the College held a number of activities to get students excited about reading. The annual Book Fair returned and was popular with both students and parents. Form 1 classes went head-to-head in a Battle of the Books competition, with Form 2 students following suit in a lively Chinese version. Both participants and audience members had a ball.

The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts' vocal students recently put on a modernized performance of Handel's opera "Giulio Cesare" for our Form 4 students. The opera, which tells the story of Julius Caesar's conquest of Egypt, features elaborate costumes, sets, and music, and is a classic of the operatic repertoire.
One of the performers in the production was Kwan Cheuk Shing, our Old Boy from the Class of 2007. Kwan Cheuk Shing is a talented vocalist, and the audience highly praised his performance in the opera.
The students who attended the performance were greatly impressed by the vocal students' talent and the overall production quality. They were particularly impressed by the vocal range and technique demonstrated by Kwan Cheuk Shing and the other performers. The performance was a great success and demonstrated high talent and dedication among the students at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.
